EIA reports US Propane/Propylene Stocks Rose 7.7% Last Wk
OAKHURST, N.J. (DTN) --- The Energy Information Administration reports total
domestic propane/propylene stocks of 55.694 million bbl in the week ending
April 12, up a more than expected 3.989 million bbl week-on-week and 238,000
bbl, or 0.4% higher than in the same week last year.
Data show propane/propylene exports last week averaged 1.575 million bpd, up
84,000 bpd week-on-week and 276,000 bpd, or 17.5%, lower than in the same week
last year.
Implied demand for propane/propylene in the United States averaged 675,000
bpd, down 630,000 bpd week-on-week and 194,000 bpd, or 28.7% lower than in the
same week last year.
EIA reports domestic propane/propylene production averaged 2.735 million
bpd, up 62,000 bpd week-on-week and 224,000 bpd, or 8.2% higher than in the
same week last year.
East Coast PADD 1 inventories ended the week at 3.83 million bbl, up 228,000
bbl week-on-week and 599,000 bbl, or 15.6% lower than in the same week last
year.
Midwest PADD 2 inventories ended the week at 12.54 million bbl, up 50,000
bbl week-on-week and 820,000 bbl, or 6.5% higher than in the same week last
year.
Gulf Coast PADD 3 inventories ended the week at 35.539 million bbl, up 3.427
million bbl week-on-week and 1.538 million bbl, or 4.3% lower than in the same
week last year.
Combined inventories in the Rockies and the West Coast, PADD 4 and 5, ended
the week at 3.785 million bbl, up 284,000 bbl week-on-week and 1.555 million
bbl, or 41.1% higher than in the same week last year.
